New year, new steps


Happy new year, friends!

As we ease back into the flow of the new year following our holiday break, we’re still reflecting on our favorite stories from 2023. We’re excited for another year of covering workers’ wins and struggles. Let us know what we should cover in 2024!

Sarah spoke with Elbida Gomez, mother of two who works cleaning the Woodbury, Minn., location of Cabela’s. Gomez is a member of SEIU Local 26 who is fighting for a new contract, including paid sick days and holidays.
