We're excited to share with you a recap of what was an incredibly busy summer and new opportunities that you'll soon have the opportunity to take part in.

Highlights

Funding Initiatives

• VitaRNA IPT Launch: Our community raised an impressive 300k for VitaRNA, marking our second successful IPT launch — a remarkable 10x increase from the previous IPT launch.

• TransFidelity Project: VitaDAO, in collaboration with CerebrumDAO and BeakerDAO, co-founded the TransFidelity project, contributing $50,000 to help the initiative reach its 76 ETH funding goal. This partnership aims to advance Alzheimer’s treatment by improving protein synthesis accuracy, marking a pivotal moment in on-chain science as multiple BioDAOs unite to tackle neurodegenerative diseases.

• Ab4AD IPT: VitaDAO has approved a proposal to allocate $50,000 for the development of a novel cardiovascular disease therapy at Tel Aviv University, further advancing its commitment to innovative longevity research.

• VitaDAO has been awarded 21 million BIO tokens through Bio Protocol's bio/acc rewards program. This significant allocation recognizes VitaDAO's pioneering contributions to the DeSci ecosystem and longevity research. As a key player in this ecosystem, VitaDAO is committed to contributing significantly to the progress of the broader DeSci and BIO ecosystem!

Ongoing Research Projects

• VitaRNA/ArtanBio Data Drop: Following the successful funding of the VITARNA IPT, we're excited to share the new data drop just released by ArtanBio.

New DAO Governance

• VitaDAO 2.0 Model Approved: We're very excited to announce the approval of the VitaDAO 2.0 model, marking a significant evolution in our organizational structure. This new model combines high-stake monitorship with high efficiency execution, enhancing our operational capacity and strategic alignment.

• Vitalism Organization Proposal: A proposal has been put forward to designate VitaDAO as a vitalism organization, aligning with our core values and mission.

Leadership Appointments

VitaDAO 2.0 is a new governance model that relies on Guardians, Pods (Executive Layer), and a membrane of VitaDAO contributors. This structure aims to balance mandate oversight by Guardians with autonomous execution by Pods and contributors, fostering a more agile and mission-aligned organization.

Pod leads have full accountability & autonomy for fast execution.

Guardians commit to providing audits on Pods and Pod Leads to the community to ensure alignment with VitaDAO’s mission & mandate, enhancing community’s ability to govern the DAO based on transparency and tangible KPIs.
