This month on Cosmic TV (05-25)
May and June are going to be two important months of transition, in which we will collectively move from a confusing period of readjusting to emerging new circumstances to a period of accelerated change in summer. At the beginning of May we are still dealing with the aftermath of the powerplay between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius, the confrontation between single-handed decisions and individual willpower and the imperative and demands of the collective and its evolution.
Planetary placements on May 1, 2025
The opposition on April 26 was the third and last one of these two power planets since the beginning of November. Those of you who have planetary placements or sensitive points at the beginning of Leo and Aquarius (and also those with placements at the beginning of Taurus and Scorpio) might have experienced alternating phases of power and powerlessness and attempts of domination since then. If we have taken the high road, we might have learned to develop a regal staying power that is in line with evolutionary change. If you feel like you have missed the opportunity to develop some strength along the way, do it like Spain: investigate the reasons for your recent ‘power outage’ during the last Mars-Pluto opposition (which fell exactly on Spain’s AC-DC axis, see below). And then fix the bug to ‘empower’ yourself again. It’s never too late to learn.

This plot line has its roots in the summer months of 2024, when the so-called ‘social planets’ Jupiter and Saturn formed the first of three squares and when the wish and need to expand and invest collided with conservative forces that demanded to stick to old standards. Those of you living in Germany will remember the irreconcilable tensions within the governing ‘traffic light coalition’, which was already obvious to the participants involved as early as August ’24 (the charts of the most prominent figureheads involved were all sensitive to the middle degrees of the mutable signs that this constellation touched). But the
