This month on Cosmic TV (03-25)
How many planets can occupy one zodiac degree?
When looking at the planetary placements in the next four weeks, one cannot help but get the impression that in March the cosmos is trying to figure out how many planets can be crammed into one zodiac degree. And the degree I’m talking about is a special one: it’s the Aries Point, the very first degree of Aries and the very first degree of the zodiac. It has a special significance because it’s the point of the vernal equinox, symbolizing the beginning of a new development cycle. Every year when the Sun reaches this point on April 21st , the day is as long as the night, marking the beginning of spring, the reawakening of nature and our vital forces. So far, nothing special. But this March half of the planets will be either approaching, meeting on or retrograding back to this point. And the ‘planetary squeeze’ will tighten the further we get to the end of March.
Take a look at the planetary placements yourself. This is how the month starts:
Planetary placements on March 1, 2025
Already a pretty jam-packed sign of Pisces and Aries, right? And this is how the month ends:
Planetary placements on March 29, 2025 (day of Aries New Moon)
Pretty intense, isn’t it? Half of the planetary bunch plus the lunar North Node are huddling together around the Aries Point, more or less for the whole month. It looks like a big cosmic convention that is assembling to discuss how to kick-start a new cycle. The symbol of Mercury is not even visible anymore because it’s so crowded at the Aries Point. And it’s not only the fast-moving planets that will cross this point. Neptune will move into Aries on March 31 for the first time since 1861, the beginning of the American Civil War. Saturn will follow two months later on May 26, 2025. So, this is a time of significant collective endings and beginnings and geopolitical shifts (More on this in my next article about the historic Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries).
If you happen to have planetary configurations or sensitive points around the Aries Point itself, the next two months will be intense. I could imagine that you might feel quite a bit squeezed yourself or get the feeling that it’s all a bit “too much”, not knowing where to get started
