One of my favorite events in December is Giving Tuesday. On Tuesday, December 2nd, not-for-profit organizations are highlighted to provide an opportunity for us to become aware of and help our favorite charities. What are your favorites? Here are my favs:
Community Unity Network is a local organization my daughter started to help struggling single mothers and families with necessities. It has grown to become a hub that helps several local charities. The mission of the Community Unity Network is to unite churches, ministries, and servant-hearted people to meet the needs of the community whether it be groceries, clothing, school supplies, furniture, cleaning up neighborhoods, revitalizing parks, or connecting them to local churches and resources that can help them. Proceeds from Who Told You That are donated to Community Unity Network.
First Light is a Child Advocacy Center that offers services to child victims and non-offending family members at no cost. They serve victims
