Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for tang)
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions:
Preheat oven:
Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.Prepare sprouts:
In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Spread them cut-side down on the baking sheet.Roast:
Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sprouts are golden brown and tender.Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and balsamic vinegar (if using). Drizzle the mixture over the roasted sprouts and toss gently to coat. Roast for an additional 3–5 minutes to let the glaze caramelize.Finish & Serve:
