Ukraine Dispatch 3: An Interview with Nataliia
Welcome to my Ukraine Dispatches, updates from my latest visit to Ukraine. This is my third dispatch. My first one, which covered Ukrainian military training as well as a certain incident with a snake, is available to read at this link. My second one is available here.
My visit to Ukraine is going well, and I have been able to meet with Ukrainian military officials as well as a range of other folks as part of my research into the war in Ukraine, and developments in modern war.
Today’s update is a short one. It has been a long day in southern Ukraine but I wanted to get this update out before I hit the sack.
On my second night in Kyiv, I was interviewed by Natallia Lutsenko. Nataliia has interviewed me a couple of times before. She is always a pleasure to speak with because her background research for interviews is superb and our discussions are long enough to tackle a range of topics.
In our latest conversation, for the Ukrainian War & Politics 24 channel, we discuss:
The Trump-Putin phone call.
The Trump-Zelenskyy meeting in Washington DC.
Support for Ukraine’s war effort.
Long range strikes.
The trajectory of the war.
The interview is available to watch online on YouTube, below.
Thanks for following my visit to Ukraine. In my next update, I will cover a visit to military units in southern Ukraine.
