Happy Sunday, everyone—it’s been such a beautiful weekend in Minneapolis. I love this fall weather when the high temps are only 50ish but the sun is clear and bright and stubborn, making it feel much warmer than it actually is. The chilly air and the radiance of that gorgeous star create a delicious incongruity.

I love it.

I love, too, that I have several editor calls in the week ahead in response to my book proposal for what I consider our book—the book that I am building based on our work here together, a book that wouldn’t exist without all of you. I know it’s risky to tell you about the editor calls because who knows if it will come to anything conclusive, but, I see you all as part of this journey, so, I’m sharing despite the risk of disappointment. Please cross your fingers for me—and for us, and our book!
