joy.

joy is more than just "happy"

it lasts longer than a laugh

it plows through the walls of depression

it parts the anxious seas

and sheds light on even

the chillest of winter breeze

it’s the doing the right thing

following his footsteps

keeping your promises

finishing what you started

it’s the battle and the fight

it’s the peace and it’s delight

joy comes from above

and it’s felt from within

it’s there through thick and thin

your very best friend
