2026 – The final step into a new era

The general spirit of 2026

As cool as it might be right now at the turn of the year, 2026 promises to get hot and stormy. The final conjunction of Saturn and Neptune on the Aries Point in February will give us the cosmic go-ahead to venture out into the new era. The time of problem avoidance and burying our heads in the sand is over. Taking action is what is needed. As with every beginning, there will probably be a lot of trial and error since familiar general assumptions will be called into question and dislodged. As soon as Jupiter enters Leo in July, half of the impersonal planets will be in fire and the other half in the element of air. We are collectively tasked to put a lion in our hearts and muster the courage to act on our ideas. A potential danger of so much fire and air is a lack of grounding and realism, which could make quite a few of us scatter-brained and running around in hyperactive mode. Overstating one’s case and overshooting the mark is another downside of too much fire and air. Fortunately, Saturn in Aries can provide the necessary structure and discipline to manifest our ambitions. An unconventional and intuitive approach might serve us best when trying to find a way out of difficult situations. If you resonate strongly with the elements of fire and air, 2026 could get quite an adventuresome year.

The talent triangle of the outer planets: Big Tech, AI and the new space race

The speed of the recent technological and digital developments and revolutions will continue as symbolized by the talent triangle formed by Pluto, Uranus and Neptune, and which will be in place until the end of this decade. Neptune in Aries at the center of this constellation with fan the spirit of competition while Pluto in Aquarius, indicating the increasing power of future-oriented and digital corporations (‘Big Tech’), aligns harmoniously with Uranus in Gemini, symbolizing a rapid ‘collective learning process’ or the mining, processing and use of collective digital data – in short: the further development of artificial intelligence. Apart from AI, the technology sector might be especially inspired by warfare and military applications, but scientific breakthroughs in other areas are not excluded, of course. In line with the symbolism of Pluto in the air sign of Aquarius,
