This month on Cosmic TV (08-25)

If you have been searching for indicators that we are living in extraordinary times, this month’s sky will give you some beautiful evidence. From August 8-10 we will see the most exceptional constellation that we have had in years, involving all the outer planets and Saturn and completed by Mars and Mercury, symmetrically aligned around the Aries Point. In the image below you will easily recognize several geometric forms: the isosceles triangle in blue, the two interlocking kites with the red lines forming the middle bars, a cradle in the lower half and the rectangle enclosing two oppositions (red lines), making it look like an envelope:

If you turn it around and choose Virgo as an Ascendant instead of the default 0° Aries, you’ll see the image of a house:

Reconciling war and peace

It’s an image that conveys stability and harmony despite the tensions indicated by the oppositions. And that’s exactly the promise of this month’s signature constellation: With Mars moving into diplomatic Libra on August 7, there is a potential for using the urge to cooperate and make peace (Mars in Libra) to confront the authoritative drive to forge forward and conquer(Saturn/Neptune in Aries), while also taking the idea of an individual’s greatness and superiority (Mercury in Leo) and the power of the people or groups interests (Pluto in Aquarius) into account.

Since this kite-configuration is exclusively formed by planets in the elements of fire and air and involves fickle Uranus in Gemini, the seeming stability of this constellation might dissolve quickly. In simple words: it looks like fast and large-scale efforts to impose peace or create a balance of some kind. As ingenious as certain moves might be, there is the danger that current tensions and issues might find a temporary containment but no long-lasting solution. This does not only apply to the political arena (and to the US in particular as the chart and the government of this country is immediately affected by this constellation), but you might find similar situations in your own life, especially if you have significant planetary placements or sensitive points at the beginning of Aries, Leo, Libra or Aquarius.
